The ‘Io knife design takes its name from the Hawaiian Hawk, which is endemic to the Big Island of Hawai’i. The ‘Io is nimble, sharp and fast, just like the raptor that shares its name. Made to handle the harsh rainforest conditions of the Islands, the ‘Io’s Magnacut steel blade stands up to the elements, while holding a razor-sharp edge. This is a one of a kind knife with unique hand made handles blade and sheath, there will never be another one made. The included Kydex sheath was designed with a custom leather saddle style belt loop wrap that enables the wearer to orient the blade vertically or horizontally on either side of the body, however the holes in the sheath are standard spacing so a wide variety of aftermarket mounting options will fit this sheath.
